Robert and I talked to Kirk Jacobs (Machine Shop Director) about
building a CCD wire scanner like used at UVA.
Kirk will browse some catalogs and will tell us what components are
available (fine threaded rod etc).
Meanwhile Robert is looking for a CCD camera with a reasonable
resolution including a proper zoom and for some electronics to
drive a stepper motor
