Simulation done with v52 (collimators+handlebar). 
Looking at the hit distribution (unweighted) of the back VDC with ~5k hits.  
I'm aware that the chamber is not centered radially, however the hit distribution does not look symmetric.
The proposed active area is indicated by the box.  For the final cut I have to apply a cut on the cross section weighted
profile with more statistics.
